List to do in June

I know June is almost over, but I decided to make a list of what I want to do before June ends.

Yay! Hopefully with one full week left I will get all this done. Also I really like what I am wearing today so here’s a picture.
The shirt is a hand-me-down and the shorts are from American Eagle.

Thrifting with my Brother

Today I went thrift shopping with my brother.  I have been thrift shopping before, but never with my brother, so it was interesting. We went to a couple of different places, but we didn’t buy much. This post is also going to be an outfit of the day post yay! So I will do the ootd part first and then the haul of what we bought.
I look like I'm mad, but I'm not. This is the whole outfit. The shorts are from PacSun.
Shirt is from Marshalls.

Glasses are from Charlotte Russe.

Gladiator sandals are from some store in France.

Yellow bracelet is from a program I did at the Library when I was younger. The red bracelet is from a small Chinese shop. The green bracelet is from a leather shop. The ring is from a thrift store.

It's hot here so I wanted to wear something that would keep me from having a heat stroke.
When I went shopping I ended up getting a blouse and a cup. While my brother got two cups.

The blouse I got. It has shoulder pads, but Im going to cut them off.

The cup I got.

The cups my brother got.

Neither of us found what we really wanted, but I think it was a well-spent day. At least we got some sibling bonding time.

Following a Railroad Track

I would like to say I went on an adventure today, but that doesn’t sound right. Technically everyday is an adventure. You either learn something new or do something new. I guess I could say I went hiking, but that doesn’t sound that exciting. So I went on an adventure today.

See I have a friend
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We started off at a park in our town and then went to this railroad bridge. I had been to this railroad bridge before, but had never gone further down the tracks. Our plan was to follow the tracks and see where they led.

Being the person that I am we had our little picnic right away (I love food and I hadn’t eaten lunch). The picnic consisted of me eating my sandwich and then eating all the fortune cookie my friend brought as left overs from her graduation party. After eating we began to follow the railroad track. Which is when we made our first awesome discovery.
The deer we saw
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My friend noticed the deer crossing the railroad tack. It was one of those surreal moments that for whatever reason just took your breath away. Then left us both scrambling for our cameras.
Long road ahead
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We kept following the tracks with me tripping along. I have no grace or balance, so every little rut and ditch is a new opportunity for me to trip. Eventually the tracks lead us to a somewhat busy road, so we turned back a little and followed a utility road (I think that is what you would call it).
Utility road
Beautiful view
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We followed this path along this gorgeous view. Walking between two lush green fields with all these plushy white cotton clouds floating around in the sky. Even with the sun beating down on our heads everything felt perfect. We then came to the end of the utility road, which meet up with a street.
Hitch hiking
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We then backtracked to the railroad bridge. Feeling satisfied that we had accomplished something (even though it was just a walk). We walked back on the train track listening to Neon Indiana, Porcelain Raft, Gorillaz, and other awesome bands ( courtesy of my friends iPhone).
Love notes
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When we arrived at the bridge to leave we found some burnt love note. It looked like someone had tried to burn a notebook and had obviously failed, hence us being able to find some of the still slightly intact pages. With that interesting find we went back to the park to go our separate ways. I don’t know about my friend, but I left thinking about the next adventure.

Hello Lovelies

Hello! Do you smell that fresh new blog sent? Well I do! This post marks the first post made on this blog.
This picture was taken with my web cam. Most of my pictures will be taken with an actual camera.
This picture was just to show you what I look like and how excited I am.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My name is Madison and I am the obvious owner of this blog. I decided to make this blog because summer break has just begun and a couple of days ago I graduated from high school. So some big changes are happening in my life. This blog is away to write them all down and have them in a place that I can look back on. The post are going to vary from what events are happening in my life, to outfit of the day, to how I feel, hopefully some d.i.y, and a lot more. So hold on to your desk chair (or whatever you’re sitting on) and get ready to go on this journey called life with me.
